I was in the Real Estate field for over 5 years as an admin, helping a team of over 30 agents with their transactions. While working 3 jobs to stay afloat, I decided to go get my real estate license so that I could become an agent myself. That completely changed the trajectory of my career.

I now use mail merge to create the letters I send out. They merge from my expired listings each week, which gives me an easy way to stay top of mind with prospective clients. I stick to my routine of sending 10-20 mailers out each week, and usually get 1-2 listings in return from those. What I’ve found to be successful is taking the time to hand write the letters I send. I make sure to give information about who I am and my past experiences and express that I truly love helping my clients.

Becoming an agent and working with REDX has enriched my life. Me and my husband are now in the process of building our own home, which I would have never been able to do if I wasn’t sending out mailers. Where I live, a 9-5 job does not pay well. Now, I’m a whole lot happier, and it’s much more fulfilling than the work I was doing before.

Finding Mailer Success

I would say to someone who isn’t convinced that mailers can work for your business, just keep doing it. Don’t give up. People enjoy opening mail, especially in the times that we’re in. I sent out letters last week and got someone who wants to list their house. It works!
