The Bubble Burst

I transitioned into real estate when the .com bubble burst and all my old business dried up. As soon as I got my license I tried prospecting REDX leads. Even though it was difficult, I couldn’t afford to get discouraged and give up — I had to make a living. I didn’t have any money so I stayed with family until I sold a few houses. Then, about a year into my real estate career, I got a coach who kept me accountable and helped improve my mindset and skills. That changed everything.

It took me a few years in the business until I changed my mindset to believe I could and should make more money. I set a new expectation — a new goal for how much money I believed I could make. And then I made it. Since then I’ve continued to set, reach, and reset my expectations even higher.

I built a successful business in Memphis, Tennessee before moving into a brand new market in Louisiana. I didn’t have any connections there, but REDX provided me with immediate access to income.
